No, this doesn't go out in the general discussion area it appears as a thread under your profile, however, anyone can view it - that's how I ended up taking part here, that and if curiosity killed the cat, satisfaction brought it back :-)
Threads under profiles tend not to attract so many people as they're usually run as virtual conversations between the person who owns the profile and a select few.
As a mod it's my obligation to check out the profiles and threads in general not just those under a profile or in the general discussion, as we do have some lines, which we're not allowed to cross because this is an open site, and anyone routing the Internet can view what's written here as a "lurker" . This is one of the reasons we urge youngsters not to publish their ages or personal details like their messenger contact, E-mail, etc., to be on the safe side."
