Excuses, excuses...not my fault, Gibbs! This is a featured page

◄ Back to NCIS Files

Gibbs has a habit of catching people out ...even when "it's not what it looks like, Boss".
Favourite memories of these incidents include...

Abby in Gibbs basement in Bloodbath, middle of the night, drunk, working on his boat, feeling sorry for herself. She poses the theory that maybe it is all her own fault. Gibbs agrees. "How could you say that to me Gibbs? I didn't do anything wrong.

Just because some defective lunatic cannot get it through his skull that I think he is a ....defective lunatic....
That's not my fault, Gibbs! That's not my fault at all. (pauses, talks to self in surprised tone) That's not my fault! ....Hmph.
I can see why you like to work on your boat, Gibbs. Very, very cathartic. (she picks up mallet and chisel, hits the boat, and something falls off. Chastened, she hands the tools to Gibbs, with her eyes downcast). Oops. Suddenly having a stalker on the loose isn't so scary."
Kate "He had nice eyes."
DiNozzo "The Director...she has this thing about...
Gibbs: "secrets."
Tony: "yeah"
McGee I wanted to (come to you, Boss) and I know the law says innocent until proven guilty but we both know the system doesn't always work like that, and I couldn't take the chance. Not with (NCIS). Not even with you. She's my sister.
(Gibbs: Apology accepted).
Ziva...wearing McGee's elf lord hat *speechless*
McGee: "Honestly, the book isn't about you guys", Gibbs: throws the book in the trash.
