TRIVIA GOOFS
Before NCIS, Mark Harmon, Lauren Holly and Rocky Carrol worked together on a show called Chicago Hope.

  • At the end of Angel of Death, Jenny's hair is fairly short still. At the beginning of this episode it appears to have grown several inches in one night. (I think Lauren Holly should have waited a little longer before she grew her hair out!!!)
In 'Blowback' Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly are on the plane and Mark says "TV Show, 8 Down." and Michael responds "St. Elsewhere." (Mark Harmon used to work on that show.)

Hello

Michael Weatherly used the word "chimera" on another series he starred in. In "Dark Angel" his character, Logan Cale, refers to his co-star Jessica Alba's character Max as a chimera. For those who haven't seen the show Max was created in a military genetics lab with dna from dozens of sources and a little feline in the cocktail.

In the beginning of the episode, just after the credits, where Abby and McGee are talking and there is a wanted suspect poster on the wall of cubicle. The poster is issued by the "U.S. Naval Investigative Service" and labeled a "NIS Special Bulletin."

Either a mistake or its an odd bit of nostalgia that is on the wall of McGee's cubicle. It would have to be from before McGee's time. The suspect does look familiar somewhat. It's right next to his duty chart and list of contacts, so I'm wondering if it is a goof. It would be an odd thing for McGee to collect unless he had something to do with the case.
