| Memorable Quotes: |
- "My favorite show so far has been Prodigy, in which I got thrown off the top of a building, and she dove after me, and then we slammed through a window and landed on a bed. And I thought, 'You know, I'm a lucky man to be able to do this for a living. What an odd occupation."
- (On his "Dark Angel" character, 'Logan') "He's got the tricked-out apartment. He's also extremely good at the computer stuff. I don't even know where the power switch is! My character kicks butt!"
- (asked how hard it is to spend time with his son due to the long hours on “NCIS“) "It’s really hard. Luckily, August has a really solid home [with his mother, actress Amelia Heinle] and I get my weekends, when I’m there. We go to basketball games, we make home movies, we go for hikes - but yeah, it’s not ideal."
- "The most challenging thing is when I take naps in between scenes. I'm a napper! I average two a day. And my character (Logan Cale in Dark Angel) wears glasses, so when I wake up from the nap my glasses are sort of bent and crooked and I have to straighten them out. There are a couple of scenes when my glasses appear crooked. And that's due to my love of naps."
- (asked how he feels about "NCIS" after four years) "I'm so proud of it, and pleased and amazed at how popular it is all around the world. Walking around Sydney and Melbourne (when in Australia in May 2007), I was approached by everyone from goth kids asking if they can take a picture, to investment bankers and women in the supermarket. So it has a pretty broad audience."
- (About his car) "I drive Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
- "I have almost a phobia about [interviews]. I get all paranoid and freaked out. I'll lie in bed going 'Why did I say that?"
