Brief Bio on acting Career:
Muse Watson attended Louisiana Tech on a music stipend for two years before transferring to Berea College, Berea, Kentucky, where he performed for the first time on stage as Petruchio in "Taming of the Shrew". During and after his years at Berea, he worked in outdoor dramas, dinner theaters, and small repertory groups. His theater credits include Hamlet in "Hamlet", Stanley in "A Streetcar Named Desire", Pale in "Burn This", Cervantes in "Man of La Mancha", and directed "Ain't MisBehavin". In 1989, with a new commitment to film, Muse began pursuing roles in feature film. By 2004, he had appeared in 40 feature films.

He acted on stage, worked as a purchasing agent in steel and alloy manufacturing, was a manufacturer's rep, and drove rigs for movie transportation. Appeared in a couple of films doing vehicular stunts.

I'm sixteen years sober after looking the devil right square in the face and have had brain surgery, heart and lung surgery and back surgery. My philosophy is that life is about facing your fears. If you want to scare somebody? You may wanta try somebody else. With film you have to go to a movie theatre and sit and watch someone have a conversation. In TV, 10 minutes after the broadcast you have 100,000 posts on your web site from the audience telling you what they liked and what they didn't like. In the next episode, you get what you want or the show is cancelled. (talking about what convinced Muse to play in "House of Grimm") The barn needed a roof.

Trivia:

In 1982, Muse Watson won Best Play at a state wide competition of penitentiaries with his cast of Lonestar. Muse Watson taught acting at a Georgia State Penitentiary. Muse Watson left Berea College before graduation to work the dinner theater circuit performing in Man of LaMancha and Humbug and Holly. After two years of attending Louisiana Tech, Muse Watson was asked to leave because of behavioral issues and was failing academically. Muse Watson's father was diagnosed with diabetes and died of complications at 36 years of age. Muse Watson went to Bolton High School. When Muse Watson was thirteen, he was diagnosed with dyslexia. Muse Watson is the youngest of four children. Muse was given the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2000 by Berea College in Berea, Kentucky where Muse started his acting career. Muse Watson played Parley Gentry in "Songcatcher" which won a special jury prize for 'ensemble acting' at the Sundance Film Festival in 2000. Legendary V.P. of Casting for Warner Brothers, Marion Dougherty encouraged him to move to Hollywood and arranged for his first Hollywood agent in 1994. Muse Watson first went on stage while attending Berea College in Kentucky to perform as Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare. Muse Watson has a daughter. Muse guest starred on a episode of ICarly as a bull riding instructor.
