Brief Bio on acting Career: Born in New Orleans, Pauley has studied psychology and sociology, and (appropriately for Abby) criminal science. She has guest-starred on series such as CSI, "Murder One," "The Drew Carey Show," "Jesse," "JAG" and "24." She has also been featured in the films "The Price of Kissing," "Almost Famous," "Hungry Hearts" and "The Ring." She's an animal lover, music fanatic, documentarian and music producer. She currently produces and is part of a band named Stop Making Friends (www.myspace.com/stopmakingfriends) and they have a song on the Official NCIS Soundtrack.

Okay, i'm a little confused. right now, i was googling to see what Pauley's dad's name is. but, no matter how hard i looked and watever search engines i tried, i didnt get a hit that told me his name!!! can someone tell me why that is?
