Abby's short love affair
There was a couple of episodes where Abby was having a bit of almost-romance with a vertically-challenged fellow technician. I thought I read that the actor in this role committed suicide. . . what I can't remember is if the character was resolved or not.

Confused...
Watching a rerun tonight (Skeletons) brought up a question....given that we see she's clearly distressed at losing out on her relationship with the little guy (little person, midget, dwarf...however you want to refer to him), I remember the episode when she met him, but then there's a jump (to my recollection) to this episode.
Did I miss something or were there any more episodes with regard to this relationship? I've got all 4 seasons on DVD and I've watched all of season 5's episodes, so I don't think I missed anything, but still it's bugging me.
This is only one of a couple of jumps that puzzle me (Kate being kidnapped by Ari at the end of season 1, then she's back to work and no mention of her rescue at the beginning of season 2) and I'm just trying to seek out clarification.
Thanks for the help in clearing this mystery up for me.

Flirtatious but genuine
I think Gibbs enjoys a flirtation with Abby the same way she does with him - but actually think they just have a very unique special relationship the root of which is a deep friendship and respect for each other. I think Abby actually brings out all thats best and caring in Gibbs - you never see him give genuine affection and caring like that to anyone else.
