"I don't disagree at all. In fact those people I spoke of are nice enough, just different. One thing I will give them, they are great cooks. Now if everyone were the same, wouldn't this be a dull world? Diversity is the "spice of life". I guess that is one of the reasons I like Abby's character so much." Hi 5 Abbiefan1...exactly.

mmmm...Don't know if Franks would expect that of Ziva, he knows what she is like and is all about. The technology will probably floor him a bit..unless he has done more sluething that we don't know about... lol.. I think Franks would be a bit more strict and a bit less tolerant of Tonys jocularity and Abbys way of doing things. I think working with the team while Gibbs was away would be an experience for him..lol..If anyone could get Tony to sit up in his chair a bit more , I think Franks could be the one...and a headslap...lol..I'd love to see Franks headslap Gibbs in front of everyone in a jovial moment....that wouldn't be funny to Gibbs of course...lol

"Hi Cal. It must be challenging to dub Abby. I liked the scene when she was on the Kelly, trying to figure out if she should say "slid" or "sled" or etc. It reminded me of some of us on this thread who worry about whether or not we've made spelling or grammar mistakes. Maybe the writers have been reading us and wrote that scene in our honor." Hey longboat - being of Italian heritage, it is not an unfounded stereotype to say Italians can speak with expressive passion. I have only to fondly remember my aunts, my uncles, my cousins, even my Nonna (Grandmother) all speaking expressively and with passion. I'd try speaking about my cousins in Italian but rosecake would likely bust a gut laughing at my memories of my kitchens. It's kind of a word play available in Italian.

No. I can't say I actually enjoyed this episode. I l-o-v-e-d the little bickering between Tony and Ziva--adorable--but I'm sorry, the rest of the plot just wasn't cutting it. When was it announced that Gibbs might lose his job, which was a highlight in the preview of "Outlaws and In-Laws"? I mean, I was looking forward to the drama, even though I knew he wasn't going to leave because that would just ruin everything, and I was sadly disappointed. Come on, that's part of what makes NCIS what it is!!! Ugh, I'm sorry, but I'm just not pleased...hopefully next week's will be better, yeah?

Thats what the writers do kat sor...tease you into thinking onething, when something else happens. It would never be on the agender that Gibbs would loose his job. Not at this point.

Can't wait to learn what nefarious deed the "Kelly" was involved in to end up in the evidence garage. Did Gibbs give the boat to Mike Franks for letting him stay there? ... or sell it outright?
Gibbs destroyed the "Dianne" rather than see someone else skipper her - even Fornell. LOL
Mike Franks does have a daughter-in-law and grandbaby he's been looking after in Mexico. Our MargyW offered that two mercenaries were killed aboard the Kelly and the synopsis mentions a possible international conflict.
Ok. I'm on edge!

"I think that ZIva and Worth have had some kind of contact since 'Corporal Punishment'. The way he recognized her and spoke to her wasn't as someone who had only really met once before a couple of years ago. She called him by his first name with familiarity and he immediately believed her when she told him that he would be kidnapping the girl and her mother, no questions asked.
The brief look on his face when she told him it was Gibbs's living room he looked sorry and a bit scared at what Gibbs's was going to do to him! LOL I think there is a chance that Gibbs also has had some contact with him as well, either on his own or through Ziva and her communications with him.
Tony obviously has not, although I loved how he touched his nose when he understood who he was!!" In Corporal Punishment Worth's buddies said Gibbs is a grunt, he's one of us. After which Worth opened up to Gibbs and asked for help. Gibbs helped him and, at the end left worth Gibbs' own Silver Star. In Outlaws and In-laws, after recognizing Ziva, for whatever reason, and her telling Worth that this was Gibbs' house, Worth would have known immediately that something was wrong with the operation and aborted.

Exactly Dt. Beckett..I thought it was a " shoot first and ask questions later" senario..if Rivkin had of had the chance, he would of killed Tony. Perhaps Tony could of just wounded him they say...But did Tony have time to pick and choose just exactly where in those few seconds? How did he know Rivkin wasn't wounded enough to not shoot back? Tony may one day reminise about that scene as to whether he could of and lived ...or not. That would play on someone's mind.

If there's good writing, as well as acting, I believe Tony and Ziva can have their professional relationship as well as a romantic one. I think Ziva can still barge into the men's bathroom any time! Us fans shouldn't have to choose a side!
In life there's always work and play time, this shouldn't be any different :)
Viewers and writers tend to lean too much to one side of the relationship aspect instead of finding that balance between the two.
They can be Tony and Ziva the professionals with the longing looks and endless teasing at work; and tthen hey be TIVA, the wonderfull mix-matched, star-crossed, completely in love, can't live with-out you couple.

I agree 100% Tony and Ziva can have a professional relationship when at work and a romantic relationship outside of work. Tony and Ziva can still have the looks and teasing at work, but have kissing, dinner, and many more romantic scenes outside of work!!! The writer of this show has done such a AWESOME job so far I mean hello it is the #1 show on TV and has been on for 7 seasons, they no how to keep it professional and how to put romance and comedy into the show and they no what us viewers want on the show. Gibbs does have a rule about dating co-workers it's number 12, Anyway I think Gibbs wouldn't really care because he has seen the way they act around each other and how much they care about each other I mean when Tony almost gave up about Ziva in the 1st episode of season 7 Gibbs pushed Tony to keep going and he did and they saved Ziva, Then in the 2nd episode of season 7 Gibbs told Ziva him she needed to talk to Tony and she did. Gibbs has dated a co-worker before remember Jenny I think he will let them date as long they don't do anything at work and Tony don't hurt Ziva because she is like a daughter to Gibbs now, Gibbs probally thinks that they need to see if they can stand to be together in a romatic relationship or if they just want to be friends I mean Gibbs did go down that road. But I think Tony and Ziva make a great couple!!! I LOVE NCIS AND TIVA!!!!! Can't Wait To See More TIVA!!! I Love Season 7!!!

No, Shane isn't going to terminate the original NCIS. He wouldn't do that. If he wanted to stay only with L.A.... which I think is his creation?...someone else would step in. Mark is already a producer there. Don Bellisario hasn't had anything to do with NCIS for sometime now...season 4 maybe...his name is there as a courtesy I believe, because ncis is originally his creation.

I gave up months ago..maybe if it is official, CBS should be informed of whats going on. Its got such a bad reputation with people's language and ridiculous remarks its become embarrassing . Of course, if it is gets shut down, seems to be the only answer, we'll get stuck over here with the no-hopers from over there...I don't suffer idiots too well.

I think the answer would be no. He is like all senior military personnel, and im talking length of service not rank, in that his ways are set in concrete and a life is lived by a regs manuel which transports itself into the home situation. So it takes someone who has lived under those circumstances to even consider it. Unlike politicians who say they are there to serve, military personnel live that creed and as such everything outside the unit is a secondary consideration. Ducky would be a far better option IMHO although he is ex military he is a more rounded character in his outside interests.

Pretend to be a teacher in "The Tv Show School" . You have to give NCIS your vote . You can choose among : the entire cast or a single actor , the crew (make-up , hairs , wardrobe , location , lights , scene ... Everything !) , screenplayers , directors ... Don't take it too seriously , it's just a funny game for people "mad" about NCIS (take a look to my votes and you'll understand) !!! My votes are : 100+ , for every part onf NCIS and 100 ++ for Michael Weatherly !!!

I found it! "Nine Lives" I forgot to take note of how far into the episode it was, but it was in the second half. Abby is yammering on about mold on a rope, and says she doesn't know what kind of mold it is, except that it was related to a certain kind of mold, or maybe not---"but you know how relatives are.....I mean, I still can't believe that my adorable little niece is in any way related to my stinky little brother!"
I hope someday we get to see her adorable little niece. And the stinky little brother, too, LOL.

" If Vance was my Director, with him I will always know where is my place-I get that same feeling from Tom Morrow, but not from Jen. " I agree. Gibbs always called Morrow "sir" (although, with Gibbs' opinion of being called "sir" himself, you wonder if that meant he respected him or not), and he does seem to have a lot of respect for Vance. Not so much with Jenny. But then, I think it would always be awkward to work with someone you've had a romantic relationship with, and even harder if that person were your boss. So I guess when she first showed up and aaked him if he would have problems taking orders from her, she already knew how hard it would be.

I think that it would be awesome to see Tony and his father. The only thing is would you want tony's dad to be like tony. I mean most of the things that Tony knows probably comes from his dad. I would rather just here about his dad then see him because the way that Tony describes his dad it would be hard to find someone like that but that is why they are acting ( are that is what they tell us)
