I too did not like Mann with Gibbs. She got too desperate. I also didn't like Jenny with Gibbs, she didn't deserve him, treated him badly. They did have more chemistry than he and Mann, but I was glad they did not get them back together.

I hate to say it, but i like gibbs jumping into the redheads car better than a gooey relationship... keeps it mysterious and doesn't let us see any of Gibbs vulnerable side, but lets us know he isn't just a cranky ass because he's not getting some >_<

Whahaha, Oh Gee, its a chick-fight over Gibbs. ;DI don't miss Mann at all. In fact, I was happy to see her go. Pfff, I thought she was annoying! Too strong! Too much of a man, a commander. The way she walked, the way she talked, the way she dressed, not feminine at all! Later when she heard of Kelly she was nice to him and a little hurt, that was good to watch. I thought some scenes with Mann and Jenny were funny actually. In the end, I think Jenny was a much better fit. Redhead. Sophisticated. Strong-but-Feminine. And the most important thing: the sparks between her and Gibbs. They had the chemistry, the history, the love underneath. Mann had no chemistry and no sparks with Gibbs to begin with. (or at least, I didn't see it) Gibbs never opened up a single bit to her. I always got the feeling he never planned to. That Mann was there because he needs a woman, but in the end he didn't care that much for her. So I miss Mann just as much as I think Gibbs does. 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

But, I don't think that anyone will ever be able to replace Shannon. Since he lost her and Kelly, and found his way into NCIS, he is totally "married" to his job....and this works for me *smile*. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I got the distinct feeling that Gibbs knew after the ending came with Mann, that she would be his last somewhat "serious" fling. I suppose there can be a bit of sadness deducted in this, but if Gibbs is happy staying single, who are we to push him into a relationship? To me, he has become a "lone wolf", and I find that very attractive without wanting to romantisize him any further *smile*. Do you find this valuable? |

Losing the two women he had the deepest feelings for will always be something he will have to grapple with, emotionally. And, as we know, Gibbs never allows "emotions" to conflict with his job....but he will have to confront them privately for a long time to come. At least he has his Dad now, along with the affection he receives from his team. He'll be fine. Do you find this valuable? |
