"It's okay...i think we're all a little too wired waiting for the season finale...

Are you in spain?? Isn't it like 10am over there?"
Right now in Spain it's 1 pm (GMT + 1 hour), which is the Central European Time Zone, i.e. 6 hours ahead of New York and 9 hours ahead of LA

"I am guessing that Jenny will die, as Shane Brennan said, the murder won't be the most shocking thing. But I think Tony or Ziva will quit NCIS because of their failure to protect Jenny."
Well, if they quit NCIS it'll be interesting to see how they come back next season, because we're supposed to only lose one cast member.

I'm all for an actor who wants to exit a show for them to be able to do so. (As for Kate, I don't think that was the case, although I guess she has started a family since leaving. According to Harmon in the TV guide issue, they don't know until they get the scripts if someone is going to be bumped off. Of course, I don't consider TV Guide a great investigative journalistic endeavor.)

My issue is with the writers/producers and their desire to KILL somebody off. In the case of Kate, they used her death as a means to write/produce at least 2 episodes. Okay, so they've already done that. Did they sit around in their brainstorming sessions saying we're out of fresh ideas, so why don't we kill somebody off in the season finale? Hey, that'll give us 2 or 3 rehashed storylines! Maybe they're still pished off about the strike and this is their way to get back at all of us stupid viewers.

I wouldn't jump the gun too soon, we still don't know whats going to happen and looking back in a season or two's time, we may end up saying it was a brilliant ending to the season even if someone we didnt want to see leave does so.

As for their way of removing characters from the story by killing them. It does provide and insight on how the other characters cope with the loss of a collegue / friend as opposed to them just leaving the agency. With the time span the show has covered, it doesn't NOT make sense that 2 members of the team have been KIA so i can't say i have an issue with it really.

-just my 2cents.

No, that was why Sasha Alexander left. The show has been quite clear on that point as has she. She had never been on a once a week show that had lasted as long as NCIS and couldn't keep up with the shooting schedule.

hi Hobbitkiller, I like your insights. I knew that someone is being killed (and I still think they will go with the Director) but Shane Brennan is adamant that all the loose ends get tied up...and then everything fractures again. So I was thinking a death (jenny) PLUS a "loss" (not another death but a 'departure'?) I just wonder.
The interviews with cast (on our official SPOILERS page on this wiki) is fabulous!!! Sooooo cool seeing Sean, Michael and Cote talking about their characters.

Hoorooblue,
If your are right and one agent dies and another leaves....could it be that Jenny dies and Ducky leaves?? Just cuz any of the other leaving is inconcievable...

I don't think Ducky will leave... yet. I think he's grooming Palmer as his replacement, and then he will retire, possibly with a health problem. A sweet, sad parting. Do you find this valuable?

Ducky could always be bowed out gracefully due to his increasing limp, probably requiring a hip replacement judging by the way he walks.
Or it could be that Ziva is sent back to Mossad or Tony finally agrees to have his own team or it's discovered that Franks is not exactly honest, etc., etc., ad infinitum

We should join the writers team. They would use us as inspiration and for ideas when they are short :-) Do you find this valuable?

They probably read sites like this, not so much for ideas, but to find out if we're a jump ahead of them or not.

So!. There is a death and a bigger shock. I will make a guess and say that Jenny dies and maybe Jeanne is the one to kill her. Revenge for her father's death perhaps?. Obviously, the easier character deaths would be Ducky or Jenny. Palmer also. Any death would be a shock. Do you find this valuable?
