Bravo, Princess Illa.

Penso, che no é facile tradurre tutte le parole di Tony in Italiano, perche lui dice non solo questo che puoi "ascoltare". Non so come si dice in Italiano, ma c'é molto da ridere "between the lines" .-)

I will follow your work, because it sounds very interesting! It's always a pleasure to learn some words in another language.

Alora! (Raffaella Carra always says this in her programmes, not sure what it means): En inglés usamos 'bravo' como 'bravo' u 'olé' en español, porque es una exclamación 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Sorgiña mybe i understand what you say about "bravo".... that in english it's like spanish that used alway the "O" for man and woman because is an exclamation, right?
ALLORA! is an exclamation (you know Raffaella Carrà???she is still alive?no, I'm joking, i know that she is alive, she is in spain?)

I will remember the spelling 'allora'!
Raffaella Carrà frequently presents shows in Spain, some years ago she had her own programme on Televisión Española, but now she appears from time to time - but yeah! I think she is quite old, right?!

"I am RUBBISH at languages...:D"
Now's your chance to prove otherwise :-) so far on this wiki you have Spanish, German, French and now Italian - and Princess Ila's lessons are simple, so no excuse :-)

..and I have to say that these lessons are sooooo much more interesting than my books that teach me to say, in Italian, "can you show me the way to the post office". I particularly like the fact that I can now discuss "Mossad-style assault tactics on photocopiers" in Italiano. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I seem to be having quite enough difficulty getting the English language right today, so I doubt that there's much hope for me to learn a foreign language, but I'm really enjoying reading your page. Brava!

Well said Princess Ila! Just a few new words is the way to start in a new language, little by little, and Italian is less complicated than Basque I can assure you 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I found something that I can help with on the page (this feels miraculous): on quote 7, I can say that "Shutting up now, boss" has to refer to DiNozzo shutting up (he is reporting that he is "shutting up" (being quiet)). If he was telling Gibbs to be quiet, he would use the imperative "shut up now, boss" (not "shutting up"). (See, I told you it was a miracle. I may have just exhausted my technical understanding of English grammar). 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
