I remember being SO mad at Vance for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hated him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you find this valuable?

I was soooo ticked!
I mean to split up the team, actually scratch that, to split up the family and send them all off in different directions.
If it hadn't been for Gibbs being so stubborn they probably woulnd't have seen each other again.

And to be honest, I'm still ticked at Vance.I don't like him and I don't trust him either.What do you think of him now? Do you find this valuable?

I totally hated Vance when he did that! When I saw it All I was thinking was Oh My Gosh... and my jaw hit the floor. I felt like screaming! Then they leave you on the line till season 6.... Grrrrr, Then Ziva got blown up in Morroco, tony was stuck on the ship, and gibbs was stuck with the newbies.

I hated Vance. I kinda want him to die in season 7 or at least get fired. I agree with you SpecialAgent, I don't trust him at all! Do you find this valuable?

I agree with takeing Vance of the show, NCIS Lover.
My mom and I came up with a good idea for him.He should be demoted so Tony was his boss.Tony would have soooo much fun with that and Tony deserves it after all the bullcrap Vance put him through.

That was another thing that irrated me with Vance, he seems to really dislike Tony.I mean, putting him out as agent afloat was the worst for Tony.Then fighting Gibbs to leave him there and hire someone new.And like with the 6th finale' when Tony was interogation.Vance just assumed that Tony was being a smart mouth and an idiot.Loved how he was made to eat his words when Tony got the info.(I was like 'Go Tony!') Do you find this valuable?

Don't forget that it was revealed after Season 6 got underway why Vance split up the team, and it turns out that it was for a very good reason....to replace them with three new team members, one of which was a suspected spy and then catching her (Agent Lee), which they did. I don't like it that SecNav and Vance didn't let Gibbs in on this from the get-go, but I suppose they had a good reason for not doing this, too. Going into Season 7 next fall, I'm looking forward to seeing more of Vance (I like him). Do you find this valuable?

Personally I am hoping for a lot more Leon Vance is season 7. He's the first character in a while with real potential. Rocky Carroll has taken someone who could easily have been a one dimensional character and given him depth which has made for really good interaction with Gibbs. Do you find this valuable?

I totally agree with you, Margy. I have a feeling that there is going to be a whole lot more "good interaction" between Vance and Gibbs next year....Gibbs has just about had it with being left out of the loop when critical issues arrive that involve his team. I also think that Rocky Carroll has done a wonderful job with the Vance character. I think NCIS made a very good choice casting him. Do you find this valuable?

I would like to see his character grow. I thought he was disrespected alot by several but he made it seem like he took it all in stride. I like how you couldn't read him. I was blown away at the end of Aliyah where he told Gibbs about Ziva killing Ari because her father told her too. The expression on Gibbs face was one I haven't seen since Hiatus.....vunerability, shock. I can't wait to see this play out next season. What good writers NCIS has. Do you find this valuable?

I concur. What was in Vance's file that Gibbs didn't read? And what did Vance remove from his personnel file and put in the shredder immediatley after he took the helm of NCIS? I don't like him and I certainly don't trust him. I don't think Gibbs does, either. Do you find this valuable?

At the end of Season 6, it was revealed that the paper Vance shredded at the end of Season 5 had to do with an undercover operation that was a fake, or a ruse of some kind. The SecNav explained this at the end of Season 6....when he said to Gibbs that he thought it had been destroyed everywhere, and was surprised to see it was still being circulated.

For sure...Vance is certainly NOT an "idiot"....and he is connected at the hip to the SecNav...something that Gibbs has just learned. Vance may not be much in the "sparkling personality" department, but he's not a bad guy, and next season should be very good as Gibbs sorts out the relationship between himself, Vance, and the SecNav. A "plus" on the side of Vance....he has stopped with the toothpicks! Do you find this valuable?

I wasn't as mad as I was confused. It didn't make sense to me to split up such a good thing. I think that is when I began to dislike Vance but the strong dislike grew in season 6 because you could never understand what he was doing and making Tony agent afloat pissed me off. He did get a little bit better and i certainly don't want him to die because is interaction with Gibbs is fantastic and interesting. I do not trust him and don't know if I ever will. Then again, I never trusted Jenny or liked Jenny. Do you find this valuable?
