Tony's sports?

Okay, we know DiNozzo played ball while at OSU, but what were his sports? Basketball or football? Do we know what positions he played? Do you find this valuable?

He played both basketball and football. When Tony "meets" Dr. Brad Pitt, in "SWAK", they realize that they played against each other in an OSU/Michigan football game in college. Pitt says "You're *that* Dinozzo? You broke your leg in the fourth quarter." To which Tony replies "*YOU* broke my leg in the fourth quarter!" He mentions in multiple episodes that he played basketball and in "Honor Code", Tony asks Chip if he'd ever played organized basketball and Abby tells Chip that "Tony ran point for OSU".

Cool. What position, do you think, he played in football? Due to his height, I'd say wide receiver or somehting like that... Do you find this valuable?

I don't know a lot about football, but I agree that he was most likely a receiver or similar position as he is a pretty good runner and is not overly bulky. I know there are other positions that he would physically "fit", so anyone who actually understands football (I grew up around baseball and basketball and our local schools didn't even have football teams, so I know little about it) feel free to chime in and help me out here :)

If offense, then I'd say he was wide receiver or tight end (mind out of the gutter, ladies). If defense, then maybe a safety or cornerback...

But just based on the notion that Dr. Pitt broke his leg, I'm going to assume he was offense and was prevented from scoring a TD with that broken leg...

Though with my limited knowledge, I concur. <shudders> I keep thinking of the slow motion replay video of Lawrence Taylor snapping Joe Theismann's leg.
