"yep that's today i think im not sure what time it is for australia though?"Uhm ... If you carry the 2 and divide by Daylight time. There's about 6 hours difference between LA and Sidney ... so 11am Tuesday in LA is like 5am Wedsenday in Sidney Do you find this valuable? |

I just looked up the time in L.A. on the World Clock on my smartphone to see the time difference between me (Eastern Standard Time) and L.A. (Pacific). Do you find this valuable? |

"I've "seen" it . He was kind and funny , as usual , and he gave us the name of his music site .I'm not surprised, with everyone being knocked out by the flu. From what I hear in entertainment news, a lot of shows are getting behind in production because of actors being felled by the flu. And, according to comments made in several of the episode commentaries on the NCIS DVDs, every key cast member tends to get sick at least once per season. And, with the work schedules they tend to have, they keep working to keep from getting behind in production and whatever they're sick with tends to hang on longer. I'm not an actor, but I was working 2 jobs (yipeee, 16-17 hour workdays!) for a few years and that really wears you down and makes it easier to get sick. I got sick more times during those few years than I during the rest of my life combined. Do you find this valuable? |

Seriously French Librarian - American TV schedule is, for the most part, geared to Eastern Time (New York) so most Eastern Americans don't give Time Zones a second thought. Left Coasters (American) have to deal with and translate Eastern Time all the time. There is a 3 hours difference between New York and LA. On regular TV here the shows start at 8 pm (20:00), which is already 11pm (23:00) there. It works out on the USA network (non-regular TV) because back-to-back-to-back starts here at 2pm (14:00) 5pm (17:00) on the East Coast. It all gives one an appreciation for our friends in Australia and Europe. "You have an app for that, huh? LOL"LOL Not really. I just did some basic math--which for me has to be very basic because I'm reallllllly not a math person. I was just saying that it's an easy cheat to look at my own clock and then look at the world clock and add and subtract. Do you find this valuable? |

And I know what you mean about the time zones, as I have enough trouble keeping Daylight Savings Time straight. For years my state did not observe DLS and 2 yrs ago the state decided to "convert." Now, after years of automatically adding or subtracting an hour (or 2 or 3) to adjust to the time in neighboring states, we have to adjust to DLS time. A tiny, insignificant matter in the grand scheme of things, I know, but still confusing to me, anyway :) Do you find this valuable? |
